| Project/Product Description | FIBRA FAÇADE structural frames in fiberglass for the Oslo Deichman Library.
Our product guaranteed:
high thermal insulation and more even light distribution.
Each individual fiberglass structural profile has:
a width of 400 mm;
a height of 250 mm;
a length of 13.000 mm.
Our FIBRA structural profiles are:
-lightweight but as strong as steel;
-thermal insulation lambda value 0,25;
-maintenaince free;
-fire retardant - Norm EN 13501 Bs1 d0.
The main concepts of this new and modern building were:
-open space;
-daylight needed to flow in from all directions;
-environmentally friendly;
-usage of innovative materials.
After dark, the building glows and changes looks as a reflection of all the different activities and events that take place inside.
Completion date: end of March 2020.

| Sustainability | Fibra by Saimex ensures energy performance standards that are impossibile to achieve thorugh traditional materials, such as steel and aluminium in the same section.

Fibra allows to bring more natural light into less sunny areas. Thanks to its thermal insulation properties, FIBRA creates reduced girder sections in a minimalist style, while leaving space for glazing and brightness both to curtain wall facades and to windows.
Fibra does not undergo corrosion, it resists to water, to thermal shocks and to weather conditions. It is meant to last forever. Thanks to its properties it allows a reduction in maintenance costs.
Fibra ensures the same tensile strenght of steel weighing 5 time less than steel. This feature allows therefore an optimisation of transport
