  This is a new category that recognises wall, floor, ceiling and surface design products, including decorative, creative and inventive surfaces for the interior of buildings including both commercial and residential properties.

No Rules Wallpapers transform your space into a work of art with hand drawn illustrations that create a contemporary backdrop to the interior. Traditional wallpaper is tricky to match with offcuts causing waste. The solution? Designs that match anywhere, with unique results every time.
Designed in Scotland and made in the UK. A zero waste objective is at the heart of the design process. Each roll consists of 10 metres of illustrations with no pattern repeat so every section can work together to form a seamless wall-covering.
Application of a No Rules Wallpaper design will look different depending on the height and width of the wall and the order of design application providing the client with bespoke results through a readily available product. To further enhance the bespoke nature of the product, designs can be colour altered to suit specific colour schemes.
The process of applying No Rules Wallpaper is easy; there is no need to pattern match, you can paste it directly to the wall and the high quality paper makes for a pleasant, mindful process. Simply apply, cut and continue. No match results in no offcuts, but any leftovers can be used in alcoves, shelves or even framed.
Our newest collections, lunched in May 2023, Dream Garden and Trompe L’œil transform any space into an uplifting escape, through colour, materiality and form. The ethereal landscapes of luscious botanicals and architectural features found in Dream Garden transcend reality, inviting you to bask in the bright colours of the sunlight or the tranquility of the night sky. The Trompe L’œil collection combines nature and architecture to create a balancing sense of calm and tactility through mid-century geometric forms infilled with wood and stone textures. Ten metre rolls are priced at £169 for non-woven and £213 for backed vinyl.

Materials - No Rules Wallpaper designs are currently available as standard on 180gsm matt non-woven PTW or 400gsm backed vinyl PTW. 180gsm matt non-woven wallpaper works with most spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms (Fire Rating class C). 400gsm backed vinyl is a heavy duty option for kitchen or bathrooms as well as high traffic areas (Fire Rating class 0).
The materials chosen for our No rules Wallpaper designs are high quality, matt, with a slight texture, they look and feel luxurious complementing our vibrant designs. Our wallpaper bases perform to high standards, meeting both commercial and domestic requirements. Ultimately they are a perfect canvas for our designs, they elevate No Rules designs and allow the illustrations to shine.

Our wallpapers are FSC approved and use eco friendly inks with the latest HP latex digital printing technology. Our papers are printed on demand meaning every roll printed is used.

Our papers are printed near Manchester and we are based in Glasgow, we keep our production as local as possible.

No match results in no offcuts therefore no waste. With no offcuts there is no need to order extra rolls 'just incase', clients order the amount of wallpaper that they need for the job which again reduces waste.

For every roll of wallpaper sold, one tree is planted in the Scottish Highlands with Trees for Life.

It really is the easiest wallpaper to hang: robust and thick, therefore forgiving during the hanging and trimming process, paste to the wall and crucially non match so no pattern matching is required at all, simply hang, cut and continue. The simplicity of the application and trust in the process is the main issue that we face when working with contractors and decorators. They are so familiar with pattern matching that it takes them a little time to adjust to this way of working. However once they understand that there is no catch, they are surprised and delighted with how much easier the application process is in comparison to standard patterned wallpaper or panel designs.
Some interior designers like to feel a little more in control and plan how the design will flow and line up, this is possible through digital files provided pre install for the interior designer to use within their visualisations. Cut lines can be planned and panels interchanged freely. Alternatively lengths can be cut slightly longer than required on site and then reordered/ played with to find their favourite layout prior to hanging the wallpaper.
